*OUR DAILY REFLECTION: 24-10-2017*
*By: Favour O. Adeaga*
*Theme: FAITH RESPONSE*
*Text: Luke 5:5*

*"And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net."*

Our approach to God's word usually determines what result we would get from it in the long run. And in the same vein, *when our response aligns with God's intention, there is usually an unstoppable result.* This is the reason why, after Jesus had instructed Peter to let out his net which he did by faith, the result was a net breaking one.

*To ever get the best out of God's word, it must be approached by faith and never by feelings.* This is because our feelings can be defective and manipulative but faith is never. Heb 11:6 says to please God, faith is needed and from Mark 11:23, we also understand that to get any mountain moving, we must act by faith.

No matter what you are passing through and what you are expecting, don't ever loose your faith. *If the devil can ever get to puncture your faith by doubt, then he can hinder the manifestation of your expectation.* It didn't sound reasonable but Peter believed Jesus and he walked on water, so it does not have to make sense before you will believe God's word.

*REFLECTION FOR TODAY:*
Faith, not our feelings, is what activates God's power over any situation.

*PRAY:*
Lord, help me to believe Your word all the way at all times in Jesus' name.

Great morning!!!
